Quednia Jean-Charles

Clinician

With over 14 years of experience in the mental health and human services field, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing complex emotional and psychological challenges. My expertise includes working with individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, neglect, suicidal ideation, and grief and loss. As a bilingual professional fluent in Haitian Creole and English, I am passionate about breaking language barriers to ensure accessible and culturally competent care.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Paterson University and my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Kean University, later achieving my Licensed Social Worker (LSW) certification. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse settings, including hospitals, emergency rooms, schools, domestic violence shelters, and case management programs for both children and adults. I specialize in evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to help individuals develop coping skills and resilience.

My mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can heal, grow, and achieve their personal goals. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I strive to provide compassionate, individualized care tailored to each person’s unique needs.
