Penelope Jimenez is a passionate, Spanish-speaking social worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Montclair State University in 2025. During her graduate training, she completed her internship at the Boys and Girls Club, where she worked closely with children and adolescents in underserved communities, providing support and guidance to youth facing social and environmental challenges.
Penelope is dedicated to helping children and families from minority communities reach their full potential. She is passionate about advocating for underserved populations and supporting youth as they navigate life transitions, build self-esteem, and develop healthy coping skills.
Her work emphasizes the importance of mental health during adolescence, recognizing that early support can play a crucial role in a young person’s emotional development and future well-being. Penelope approaches her work with empathy, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to empowering families and youth to overcome challenges and thrive.
